White spots can be caused by too much fluoride, trauma, orthodontics, or genetics. These lesions are unfortunately on the rise, with nearly 40% of us having some type of white spot on our teeth. In the past the only way to treat these white spot lesions was to cover them up with veneers or crowns, involving the drilling and subsequent removal of healthy tooth material.

At Rose Dental we do not believe in destroying healthy tooth structure so we use a minimally invasive procedure called ICON to remove white spots. It infiltrates the white spot lesion so as to camouflage it with the surrounding tooth.
